**Department Overview**

The Commercial National Accounts (CNA) team provides dedicated relationship coverage to the larger commercial clients across all industry sectors. This client base is primarily designated by size of credit facilities being larger than $25 million and/or annual sales being greater than $150 million. It also encompasses all commercial clients with syndicated credit facilities.
The group consists of senior commercial banking professionals who combine specific industry knowledge and extensive deal structuring experience to offer a full suite of customized credit and cash management solutions to meet the complex needs of our clients.

**Job Details**
- This is an exciting entry level opportunity within the CNA group within Commercial Banking. You'll mentor with a team of experts responsible for providing financial solutions for clients with complex and diverse credit and deposit/cash management requirements.
- The Analyst, CNA role will include on-site coaching designed to prepare you for a Senior Analyst position within CNA, including exposure to:

- Credit underwriting across different portfolios in various industries supporting the Senior Analyst and Director / Relationship Manager covering each respective portfolio;
- Assisting the Director / Relationship Manager and Senior Analyst with growing the portfolio by structuring competitive financing packages while maintaining a balanced view on risk mitigants and credit quality;
- Assessing credit risk in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, risk policies) to increase profitability and enable business growth;
- Assisting the Senior Analysts assigned to each portfolio in monitoring and control activities of the portfolios, which include financial covenant tracking, internal bank tracking reports and ensuring the portfolios are managed against overall bank set targets;
- Working and collaborating in a team environment and ensuring client expectations are met/exceeded.

**Job Requirements**

**Education/Accreditations**:

- An undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance or other quantitative discipline. MBA or CFA would be an asset.

**Qualifications/Skills/Experience**:

- Previous experience in Commercial Banking as an Analyst would be an asset;
- Experience with large accounts will be advantageous;
- Ability to travel as required;
