The role of a shadow at La Perle de L’Enfance is a very significant one. A shadow must be able to support children with special needs, while working in partnership with the educators and family.

The shadow must create an atmosphere whereby the family, leaving their child, feel at ease and safe as well as creating a safe place for the child to experience. The shadow must be mindful of the choice of words used when interacting with children, tonality of the voice, tolerance to different children’s temperaments, value systems and so much more.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $17.85-$30.03 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- educator: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
