TC Transcontinental Printing provides an integrated service offering for retailers, including premedia services, flyer and in-store marketing product printing. We are in Paris, ON, off Highway 403, 10 minutes from downtown Brantford. Easy access from Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Burlington, Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Woodstock. _Must have reliable transportation as there are no buses on this route._

**About this opportunity**

You will estimate the manufacturing of custom high-end retail signage, décor, and fixtures, reporting to the Senior Engineering Specialist. Considering quality and cost to meet customers’ expectations, you will occasionally visit client’s sites.

**What you will do**:

- Estimate cost and margin of start to end projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Determine methodologies and best practice to set the duration and task dependencies for accomplishing the scope of work considering time, cost, and quality.
- Prepare proposals for competitive bids and/or engineering studies at the scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility project stage.
- Recommend vendors and subcontractors to be selected.
- Improve cost estimating procedures, reducing discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to obtain, review, and support the commitments required for the cost estimates.

**What you have to offer**:

- 1+ year of estimating experience in millwork.
- Ability to interpret 2D/3D drawings and graphics renderings;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Availability to travel in Ontario - 10% of the time.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Work under pressure, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines and multitasking.
