- Our **IT Technician** positions have a **salary range of $45,000- $60,000** per annum based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our **AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada** facility is looking for an experienced and energetic **IT Technician** to join our IT Department in Chilliwack, BC.

The role of the **IT **Technician** is to assist internal and remote end-users with installation, troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues. Also, to assist IT Administrators with maintaining a standardized, reliable, and secure information technology infrastructure so the company can effectively execute on its vision and mission.

**Essential functions for this role are**:

- Provide IT technical expertise and support to both on premise and remote end-users.
- Assist the IT Administrators with various technology related initiatives, upgrades, and repairs.
- Coordinate corporate wide “KnowBe4” cybersecurity training.
- Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software licenses.
- Keep current on the trends, issues, and current technologies in the IT industry.

**If you have the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we want to hear from you**
- Some formal education in IT or equivalent work experience and education.
- At least 2 years of end-user technical support and troubleshooting experience.
- Entry level knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Office 0365 as well as Office Apps including Adobe Acrobat.
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting network printers.
- Experience working with a help desk ticketing system.
- Working Knowledge on how to set up a workstation for an end user.
- Basic cybersecurity awareness.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in providing assistance and support to people with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
- Treats the end-users like a costumer, always polite and helpful.
- Innate desire to continually learn and improve
