As we continue to expand, we're seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team in a leadership capacity.

Responsibilities: As an Experienced Carpenter in this leadership role, you will:

- Act as Project Lead on some projects and support the team on others, overseeing and coordinating daily activities to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Owner/Operator, and other team members to develop plans, and specifications to execute carpentry work accurately.
- Utilize your expertise in carpentry techniques to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, such as frameworks, stairways, flooring windows, and doors, etc.
- Guide general labourers when needed, providing direction and support to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Contribute to the planning and scheduling of projects, estimating material and labor requirements, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should have:

- Leadership Skills: A track record of initiative and leadership on projects
- Carpentry Expertise: A deep understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision and the ability to deliver top-notch carpentry work.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions on the job.
- Safety Focus: A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Time Management: The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
- Initiative: A proactive mindset with the willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive projects forward.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing project needs and the capacity to work in diverse settings.
