**Position Overview**:
Working under the direction of the Director, Field Operations the Truck Driver is responsible for overseeing the supply and delivery of quality rental equipment/material for our customers at various sites by transporting various goods and delivering to sites in South Western Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive various vehicles suck as straight truck, dump truck, roll off, gooseneck, pickup truck., etc (snow removal and plow for winter operations / maintenance)
- Pickup, move, deliver construction product/material as directed
- Drive to various project/customer/vendor/waste disposal sites
- Process equipment requests communicated by the Operations Manager(s)
- Facilitate repairs by sourcing parts, including pick-up and delivery
- Plan ahead to ensure efficient use of time
- Other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma / GED
- 1+ year related experience, preferably in a construction background

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Strong communication skills with the aptitude to follow written instructions
- Capable to receive, interpret and act on directions/instructions in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently
- Ability to use a computer and related software (MS Office suite)
- Mechanical background is an asset
- Valid driver's license (G & AZ/DZ) with clean driver's abstract
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs

**Effort**:

- Requires exertion of physical or sensory effort resulting in slight fatigue, strain or risk of injury
- Exercise a high degree of independent judgement and thinking
- Manage various staff, contractors and other stakeholders with competing demands and excessive pressure, risk and liability involved
- Ability to work long days and occasional evenings or weekends to meet client/project demands

**Working Conditions**:

- 44 - 50 hour work week, some on-call as needed
- Primarily field site work work involving frequent travel to various work sites, working out of the office
