**Title**:Municipal Mechanical CAD Technologist Co-op - Mississauga

**Position Summary**:
Hatch is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technologist Co-op Student with interest in mechanical engineering design and drafting for a 4-month internship. Reporting to the Municipal Engineering Management Lead in Infrastructure you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga Head office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support project managers, project engineers and designers in the preparation of design drawings, cost estimates and other technical information for civil municipal projects
- Assist in CAD design of municipal infrastructure including sewer, watermains and roads, and other related work
- Coordination with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables
- Compilation of design drawings
- Preparing design submissions and other technical documents
- Assistance of Senior Municipal Engineers and Designers as and when needed

**Education and Experience**:

- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Technology co-op program at an accredited college
- Strong CAD skills, and experience with AutoCAD is an asset
- Positive team attitude and approach, results oriented and ability to work independently
