**Job Overview**
**Cora Breakfast and Lunch in Langley is now hiring for part time experienced servers that must have weekends as part of their availability. Must have a minimum of 1 year of serving experience in a full service sit down dining room experience. Looking for individuals who can work early mornings as part of their availability.**

**Job Type**: Part-time Responsibilities:

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Upsell menu items and promotions to increase sales
- Assist with food handling, including delivering food to tables and ensuring proper presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and menus
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Work as part of a team to provide a positive dining experience for customers

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a server in a sit down full-service dining experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for order taking and bill calculation
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and kitchen staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to varying guest needs

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
