Directional Drill/drill Trainee

Ferguson Utility is a fast-growing underground utility contractor, which is currently seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator and Lead Hand, to work on various construction sites at various locations in Southern Ontario.
- Previous experience in the construction industry.
- A valid AZ, DZ or ARZ driver’s license is required with a clean driver's abstract.
- Must have a reliably mode of transportation to commute to work.
- Operators must have experience and skill at safely operating a directional drill and other heavy equipment.
- Laborer must have previous construction site experience and the ability to run machinery from time to time.
- Must be willing to partake in other roles that may be assigned from time to time.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside people of various backgrounds and abilities.
- Attention to detail for machine maintenance and daily paperwork requirements.
- Positive attitude towards problem solving.
- Must have willingness to work away from home as required from time to time.
- Able to work upwards of 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in various weather conditions.
- Maintains and uses the appropriate PPE including high visibility clothing, hard hat and work boots.

**Salary**: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
