The hourly rate for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $17.00-20.00. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for a Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team.

Seasonal Merchandisers report directly to a Sales Manager and work within our big box retailers, such as Home Depot and Lowe's. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities Merchandisers execute merchandising directives and re-sets, establish a positive rapport with store personnel and customers, and relay information to Scotts Sales team regarding inventory opportunities.

**Specific to hiring area. The SM will update for each Req.**
- This is a contract position with a start date of (date) and an end of (date). However, there is a high probability of an extension in August/September.
- Below is the type and number of hours you can expect per week: 3-10 p.m. (April - May - June), 3 p.m. (July).
- The typical weekday shift is from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Weekday shifts are flexible.
- Weekend shifts may be required (Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) from April to the end of May.

**Key work done**
- Market Scotts products, including restocking shelves, shelves and displays; cleaning the products and turn them outside; repairing or removing damaged items, etc.
- Drive in-store sales in conjunction with Scotts Sales Manager
- Assemble lighting and displays in the store.
- Install and maintain point-of-sale equipment.
- Provide product recommendations and information to consumers and retailer associates.
- Educate the consumer about the products.

**What you need to succeed**
- Strong initiative, autonomy, reliability and ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to walk steadily, stand, climb a step ladder up to 4 m (12 ft), lift heavy loads (involving bending, kneeling) and stand for long periods of time periods.
- Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, whatever the weather conditions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.

**Some other things we expect from you**:

- Live within xx km of location (reasonable distance to shops in the assigned area) SM MUST COMPLETE for each req
- Current driver's license, driver's abstract/abstract, and criminal record that meets company criteria.
- Must have full access to a car during working hours, or reliable transportation.
- Must have access to a computer, smart cell phone and the ability to print.
- Must have steel-toe boots/shoes (Green Patch)

Nous recherchons un Marchandiseur et Conseiller saisonnier pour rejoindre notre équipe de vente sur le terrain.

Les Marchandiseurs saisonniers relèvent directement d'un directeur des ventes et travaillent au sein de nos détaillants à grande surface, tels que Home Depot, Lowe's, Rona et Reno Depot. Dans le cadre de leurs responsabilités quotidiennes, les marchandiseurs exécutent les directives de marchandisage, établissent une relation positive avec le personnel du magasin et les clients et transmettent les informations relatives aux opportunités d'inventaire à l'équipe des ventes de Scotts.

Il s’agit d’un poste contractuel dont la date de début est le
_(date)_ et se termine le
_(date)._ Il y a toutefois une forte probabilité de prolongation en août/septembre. Vous trouverez ci-dessous le type et nombre d’heures auxquelles vous pouvez vous attendre par semaine : 15 à 22 heures (avril - mai - juin), 15 heures (juillet). Le quart de travail typique en semaine est de 7 h à 15 h 30. Les quarts de travail en semaine sont flexibles. Des quarts de fin de semaines peuvent être nécessaires (samedi de 10 h à 14 h) d’avril à fin mai.
