Construction Labourer

**OVERVIEW**:This role is essential for keeping job sites running smoothly by delivering and making sure they have all the materials, equipment, and tools needed. When extra help is needed, this position lends a hand at all sites. While also ensuring that shop storage areas are clean and organized for optimal efficiency. This position is a flex position & will change day to day based on jobsite requirements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Provide hands-on assistance to support our crew on site as needed. Tasks could include sweeping & cleaning up jobsites, hanging lights, organizing & moving material.
- Deliver material, equipment, and tools to and between jobsites.
- Prepare for projects starting up.
- Drive to pick up orders at various suppliers and distributors across the city.
- Organize and prepare service vehicles, ensuring they are always stocked.
- Restock jobsite pack outs and boxes for site.
- Ensure that all our jobsites have what they need for project success.
- Maximizing the use of available space in the shop for efficient storage and work processes.
- Ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored and organized for easy access.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma an asset.
- Safety certifications considered an asset [WHMIS, Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Workplace Violence & Harassment, First Aid/CPR].
- Driver’s License Required
- Experience driving a trailer/willingness to learn.
- Able to lift heavy weight independently.
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on delivery/site requirements [nights/early morning - depending on project hours].
- Ability to operate a lift.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
