CareCorp Seniors Services, a trusted long-term care and assisted living contractor, is currently hiring a RCA Lead / Scheduler for one of our long-term care facilities in Vernon, BC.

**Schedule**: Monday - Friday (0700-1500 **or **0800-1600)

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the RCA Lead/ Scheduler provides guidance, supervision, leadership and training to all CareCorp Seniors Services staff at the work site as well as overseeing the facility schedule for all CareCorp employees working in Heritage Square.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the management of day to day care delivered by RCAs.
- Provide support and supervision to RCAs during care.
Collaborate with the care coordinator/ designate to ensure daily care needs are met.
- Maintain the facility master schedule within CareCorp Seniors Services’ scheduling system.
- Update employee schedules within the scheduling system to reflect assigned shifts, incentives, and attendance related events.
- Schedule relief staff for planned and unplanned staffing vacancies.
- Advise the Human Resources Department of all internal position vacancies and subsequent posting requirements.
- Assist with internal posting procedures as directed.
- Work in a confidential manner.

**Qualifications**
- Current registration with the BC Care Registry.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience working in a long-term care setting as an RCA.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative support role _(preferred)._
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral).
- Cultural education and experience are preferred

**While the SSO is in place, you will be limited to working with only one employer and at only one (1) private long-term care hospital (facility), licensed long-term care facility, registered assisted living facility, stand-alone extended care hospital or provincial mental health facility. Unless regional clustering applies. **Regional clustering allows you to, within the same region and in agreement with the facility, hold a position as permanent with one (1) employer and hold a casual position with one (1) additional employer. You may hold only one (1) permanent position, one (1) additional casual position and must not work outside of your regional cluster.**
