**Position Summary**

The individual will be responsible for operating CNC punch and Laser machines (Salvagnini S4 and SL4) in order to manufacture sheet metal panels, floor parts and sealing sheets used in the assembly of custom air handling units (HVAC) which are mainly made out of galvanized, aluminum and stainless steel.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Insert key control instructions into the operating system of the machine to operate
- Prepare, adjust, and operate CNC punch and laser machine in accordance with procedures, standards, and requisitions
- Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools or adjust controls when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunction
- Make machine adjustments to ensure product quality
- Review program specifications or plans to determine and define machine operations and sequencing, finished part dimensions, or CNC sequences
- Check accuracy of part dimensions using various gauge types
- Program codes and parts
- Check cooling systems
- Examine electronic components for defects or verify the integrity of the laser beam cutting using a microscopes
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform tasks while respecting safety rules
- Identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
- May be called upon to work on other equipment, depending on production needs
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education**:High School Diploma or DVS

**Experience**:Three (3) to five (5) years of experience with a CNC punch and/or punch and laser

**Computer Skills**:None required

**Certificates & Licenses**:None required

**Résumé de la position**

La personne sera responsable d’opérer des machines CNC punch et laser (Salvagnini S4 et SL4) pour la fabrication de panneaux de tôle, pièces de plancher et tôles de scellement servant à l’assemblage de nos unités de traitement d’air sur mesure (CVAC) fabriqué principalement d’acier galvanisé, aluminium et acier inoxydable.

**Rôles et responsabilités**
- Insérer les instructions de commande dans l’ordinateur de la machine pour faire démarrer le fonctionnement
- Préparer, régler et opérer les machines CNC selon les procédures, les normes et les réquisitions
- Régler l’alimentation et la vitesse de la machine, changer les outils de coupe ou régler les commandes lorsque la programmation automatique est défectueuse ou si les machines fonctionnent mal
- Faire certains ajustements à la machine pour assurer la qualité du produit
- Examiner les spécifications ou les plans du programme pour déterminer et définir les opérations et le séquençage de la machine, les dimensions de la pièce finie ou les séquences de commande numérique
- Vérifier l’exactitude des dimensions des pièces à l’aide de divers types de jauges
- Faire la programmation des codes et des pièces
- Contrôler les systèmes de refroidissement
- Examiner les composants électroniques pour détecter les défauts ou l'intégralité du découpage par faisceau laser à l'aide de microscopes
- S’assurer de respecter les standards de qualité
- Exécuter ses tâches en respectant les règles de sécurité
- Identifier et corriger les conditions qui affectent la sécurité des employés
- Peut être appelé à travailler sur d’autres équipements, selon les besoins de la production
- Autres responsabilités assignées

**Qualifications**

**Éducation**:Diplôme d'étude secondaire ou DEP

**Expérience**:Trois (3) à cinq (5) ans d'expérience avec une machine CNC punch et/ou punch et laser

**Compétences informatiques**:Non requis
