**CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Full time Walkie Operators for Freezer**

**MON-FRI (Afternoon Shift) 1:30 pm to 10pm**

**Location: Britannia and Kennedy
- Mississauga, ON**

**Reporting to: Supervisor**

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Read work orders, assemble customer orders from stock, and place orders on pallets.
- Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating and report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Prepare orders for shipment and move orders to the staging area for shipment.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Continuously lifting up to 50 lbs is required.
- Operate a walkie ride on in a safe manner to move the products.
- Problem solved for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory and verifying stock and identifying losses.
- Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational /Technical Experience:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
- Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

- Ability to work in cold temperatures of -18 degrees Celsius.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs is required..

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
