**2 days per week (flexible hours available)**

$20-$25 per hour depending on experience

**Rural Property Caledon East**

**We are looking for a Gardener to maintain the flowers, trees and green spaces on the property. Gardener responsibilities include, weeding gardens, monitoring the health of all plants and green spaces, watering and feeding plants, trimming and cutting trees and shrubs, fertilizing weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. You should know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, fertilizers, while following health and safety regulations. Ultimately, you will make sure our gardens and green spaces are always healthy and beautiful.**

**Requirements**:

- Experience and trained as a horticulturalist preferred (students of this discipline are welcome)
- Some familiarity with landscaping design
- Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
- Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
- Knowledge of natural fertilizers
- Knowledge of safety regulations for landscaping
- The ability to lift shovels and perform manual labour
- The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- A love of the outdoors and plant life

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
