**Projects and typical work**:

- Assist in the end-to-end development and delivery of prototype samples. Starting with a bill of materials you will organize and procure the components, work with vendors to assemble samples, organize and assist with testing, and coordinate the delivery of the samples to internal and external customers.
- Develop and maintain a responsive and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers including automotive OEMs.
- Use your experience in the management of bills of materials to select and order components from various suppliers and distributors.
- Select and build relationships with prototype component suppliers to ensure a good working relationship.
- Use your organizational skills to track and document all necessary information related to the prototype assembly.
- Perform light clerical work where necessary.
- Shipping and receiving when necessary.
- Use internal purchasing tools and processes to set-up suppliers and create purchase requisitions using our ERP system.
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Track stocks of office and lab supplies and place orders when necessary

**Education and skills needed to succeed**:

- Electronic Engineering Technician Diploma or equivalent experience in purchasing or administration.
