Based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent), Clara Shades operates a brand-new, state of the art shade assembly and testing facility. Here, our team of engineers, designers, and technicians work hard to innovate, and we are constantly pushing to create smarter, more beautiful shade solutions.
Clara Shades is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team. The Employee will be required to work on different stations within the manufacturing process.
**Job description**
The Employee will be required to work on the automated fabric cutting table, the chop saw, the testing and packaging of the finished product.
**Responsibilities**:
- Understand the full cycle of the manufacturing process
- Be comfortable with using a chop saw to cut small metal tubes and aluminium
- Verify finished product and quickly detect quality problems and solve them
- Be able to handle fragile and large products
- Be able to quickly execute the work without reducing quality
**Qualifications**:
- Sense of responsibility
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- English (preferred)
- French (preferred)
