Locksmith Apprentice

Apprentice Locksmith - Join Our Growing Team

Are you ready to unlock a new career? Our company is expanding, and we're looking for a motivated Apprentice Locksmith to join our skilled Lock and Safe Technician team. No experience? No problem If you're eager to learn, we want to meet you

What You'll Do:

- Design and maintain master key systems
- Rekey locks to meet customer needs
- Assist with inventory control and key orders
- Follow policies for restricted key handling
- Service and repair various locks, door hardware, and security devices
- Identify and cut keys
- Answer shop phones and assist customers
- Prepare parts for technicians and key cutting
- Additional duties as needed—there's always something new

What You Bring:

- A mechanical or electronic background
- A valid G driver’s license (essential)
- A strong passion for customer service
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Computer skills and attention to detail

Personality Traits We're Looking For:

- Self-motivated and calm under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Physically fit (able to lift 25+ kilos)
- Willing to undergo a criminal background check
