Musashi Auto Parts in Arthur, Ontario is hiring for a CNC Technical Associate. The CNC Technical Associate assists in the development of new machining methods and new products. Additionally, they provide support to production areas on machining improvements and ensure mass production processes meet Quality Cost and Delivery targets

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant post-secondary education in manufacturing technology.
- 1-2 years of experience operating lathes and mills

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to the machining production department in achieving their Quality Cost and Delivery goals.
- Assist new product launches set up machines and install necessary tooling.
- Investigate and recommend new processes.
- Conduct capacity planning and cycle time evaluations.
- Create engineering cost tables for sales and quoting.
- Create and maintain tool piece cost tables.
- Create CNC programs using manual G Codes.
- Assist purchasing in the sourcing and development of vendors.
- Perform related duties as required
- CAD Drawing Skills
- Tooling life analysis
- Create a tooling Bill of Materials
- Attend annual health and safety training including (but not limited to) WHMIS, and Lockout Tag-out.
