Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our construction team. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering projects on time and within budget. If you have a strong background in carpentry and enjoy leading a team, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, or other materials
- Install cabinets, siding, roofs, and other carpentry components
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
- Supervise and mentor carpentry team members
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Estimate material requirements and manage inventory levels
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and timelines

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Proficient in reading blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy materials or operating power tools
- Valid driver's license

Note: This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and requirements. The Lead Carpenter may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth within our company.

Pay: $23.68-$37.78 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
