Job Summary:
A Golf Instructor is responsible for teaching the game of golf to individuals or groups of players, ranging from beginners to advanced players. They help golfers develop their skills and improve their game by providing instruction on various aspects of the game, including swing mechanics, course management, and mental approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, in individual or group settings.
Conduct golf clinics and classes for groups of players.
Provide individualized instruction, including swing analysis and video feedback, to help golfers improve their game.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for golf lessons.
Assist with the development of golf programs, including junior golf programs and women's golf programs.
Provide club fitting and equipment advice to golfers.
Conduct golf club repair and maintenance services.
Maintain accurate records of lessons, fees, and equipment sales.
Assist with the operation of golf tournaments and events.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
Stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and techniques.
Qualifications:
CGTF certification preferred.
Previous experience teaching golf required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of golf equipment, techniques, and rules.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Working Conditions:
A Golf Instructor works primarily Indoors practice facility.
