What You’ll Be Doing
You will provide administrative and sales support to one or more Private Banking Advisors. As a Private Banking Associate, you will provide exceptional service to Private Banking clients by assisting them with their transactional banking needs and responding to their queries. This could include lending, borrowing, investing or commercial lending needs. You will have soft targets and will promote CIBC products and services to clients.

How You’ll Succeed- Client Service - Effectively deal with any client issues, concerns, or problems promptly or refer to others as appropriate. Service the financial needs of existing clients when the Private Banking Advisor is not available (including sale of high value products and services within established guidelines).- Operational Excellence - Respond to incoming telephone calls and client’s requests to process wires/cables and visa, tax and bill payments, and ensure requests get completed. Respond and execute all client operational requests.- Sales Support - Support Private Banking Advisor in the management of their portfolios by reviewing all customer documentation with respect to compliance with regulations and bank policies. Review the client’s portfolio and financial needs from a holistic perspective. Identify opportunities to broaden the client’s suite of products and services. Meet regularly with clients to conduct less complex portfolio reviews and introduce new product and service solutions. Increase retention and consolidation of CIBC Private Wealth Management clients’ business by knowing the clients and developing strong relationships and action plans to provide appropriate investment, credit, banking solutions and wealth advisory services for less complex portfolios. Provide consistent service excellence at all client touch points to meet High Net Worth client’s expectations for service delivery and issue resolution. Ensure quality of account portfolio by performing risk assessment and financial analysis on less complex potential or existing High Net Worth clients on an ongoing basis. Ensure that all recommendations and actions adhere to all Bank risk standards and guidelines.
