**Hybrid work schedule. It is NOT a remote role. Start date is anticipated for February or March of 2025.**

**Role Description**
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to play a critical role in analyzing current business processes and systems to identify gaps and discrepancies, documenting comprehensive requirements, and liaising with business and technology stakeholders to develop effective solutions. A key focus of this position will be on reviewing and updating gap analysis documentation to drive continuous improvement.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Analyze the current state of business processes and systems to identify discrepancies between the current and desired state
- Develop comprehensive requirements documentation, including scope, objectives, business problems and solution context
- Liaise with business and technology stakeholders to develop business requirements into solutions
- Work with end users and vendors to determine which gaps need to be addressed first, based on business impact, resource availability and strategic alignment
- Review and update Gap Analysis documents
- Propose recommendations for bridging the identified gaps, which could involve process changes, technology solutions and organizational adjustments
- Capture both functional and non-functional requirements for existing and future processes
- Troubleshoot issues, develop new approaches and facilitate alignment sessions
- Assist in planning the execution of the solution, ensuring alignment with business needs and smooth adoption by end users

**Qualifications**
- **A post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a relevant field**:

- **A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent**:

- **Strong experience with gap analysis and collaborating with end users and vendors to identify current and desired states**:

- Proven experience with business process analysis
- Proven experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects or one larger complex project
- Hands-on experience reviewing and updating Gap Analysis documents
- Experience with Archibus or other facility management systems is a plus
- Experience in the education sector would be a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
