IT Support Associate

Position**:IT Support Associate (Co-op)**

Wage**:$18/hr to start**

Based out of the **Dundas, ON head office**, this in-office role reports to the Operations Manager and has varied shifts during the work week, depending on availability, supporting our teams IT needs across various locations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing technical support and troubleshooting bugs and errors on Windows computers both locally (in Dundas) and remotely for staff in other locations
- Add, maintain and update new and existing courses/products on Qualify
- Provisioning new laptops and IT equipment for new hires and facilitating upgrades for staff, ensuring installation of appropriate software and configuration of the operating system
- Participating in creating an inventory of devices and accessories across the organization, and making recommendations to management about the findings
- Assisting with various other administrative tasks with the Operations team from time to time

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a relationship-centric communications based role such as customer service, or technical support
- Currently enrolled in a diploma program with a focus on IT Support and Networking
- Strong understanding of the Windows operating system
- Experience with administration and troubleshooting in a Windows environment
- A strong understanding of computer peripherals and network devices
- Self-starter who enjoys working independently and has excellent problem solving skills;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work may be required
