A fleet manager is responsible for overseeing the sales of vehicles to corporate clients who purchase in bulk. The fleet manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue and profitability for the company by effectively managing relationships with corporate clients and maximizing sales opportunities within the fleet market segment.
**Duties are as follows**:
Have a thorough understanding of the vehicles offered by the company, including their features, specifications and competitive advantages
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients. This includes understanding their requirements, providing solutions that meet their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with fleet customers to secure sales agreements
Submit tenders for prospective contracts with local companies and municipalities
Track the order progress and notify the respective companies of the arrival and progress of vehicles
Process the documents required for a vehicle delivery
Submit paperwork to leasing company for vehicle delivery and payment
Co-ordinate with other departments within the company for the registration, upfitting, detailing and delivery of fleet vehicles
Reconcile GM incentive payments with fleet sales, and resubmit claims when required
Handle rental sales and deliveries for rental car company
Ensure the rental vehicles are cleaned, serviced and ready for delivery
**Hours of work**:
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
