- As Head of the Derivatives' team, you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating international financial environment. You will have the opportunity to deal with many different Exchange Trade Derivatives and manage an agile team. Your tasks will include, amongst others, managing the team, dealing with counterparties, managing projects, interacting with internal and external clients, ensuring that the processes are efficient and coordinated with the Group. You will be reporting to the COO.**Your responsabilities**:

- Participate to the implementation of a new options clearing service for the Group Pictet, hence close interactions with the Group and the other functions along the value chain (ie trading desk, middle office, back office of the clients center);
- Be in charge of the communication with our clearing agent: daily follow up of open items as well as consolidating for the COO the items to be escalated;
- Participate to the definition and the implementation of the risks control framework pertaining to the activity;
- Act as the key contact person for this activity;
- Managing inward & outward escalations internally/externally to mitigate Operational, Reputational, Regulatory & Financial Risk;
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to manage accurate books & records;
- Review daily exception reports and resolve any outstanding items pertaining to team's responsibilities;
- Partner with internal teams - Sales, Trading, Credit, Technology and other operations teams to ensure timely confirmation and settlement;
- Maintain accurate and clean post settlement work-flows - breaks, fails, etc;
- Design and initiate process improvements with thorough understanding of the teams' processes and controls;
- Career mapping for team members with focus on their knowledge enhancement, career growth and job enrichment in the firm;
- Coaching and guidance for team members by providing regular feedback, planning & scheduling training requirements;
- Annual Employee performance review and delivery of feedback;
- Project and initiative management and participation within the team and across regions.

**Your profile**:

- Experience with working in back office;
- Very good knowledge and experience in dealing with derivative (ETD), especially with options (10 years experience);
- Knowledge of and experience with back-office with back-office tools and dealing with trading;
- Languages: English and French;
- University degree required in Finance or similar discipline;
- Successful completion of industry courses (FINRA SEI, 27 or 99, CSI courses);
- Team player
- Polyvalent;
- Proactive;
- Is able to demonstrate experience in managing relationship with clients and improving client experience;
- Proven track record of individual motivation and team leadership. In addition, experience is required of managing a migration of functions across regions;
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines, at the same time maintain a clear and attention to detail on risk mitigation and control
- Effective problem solving and critical-thinking skills;
- Ability to use discretion and good judgment and have the ability to deal with multiple complex issues at the same time whilst meeting client deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong appreciation of client service;
- Proven experience of managing teams in the field of Equity Derivatives confirmation and settlements;
- Demonstrate experience of active engagement, stakeholder management and partnership across business lines and divisions.
