We are a small liquor store conveniently situated within the Quality Hotel & Conference Center Sawridge. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for the hospitality industry, value exceptional service and is ready to dive into the day-to-day responsibilities of working as part of a team in a successful liquor store.

Wage - $16 an hour
Job type - Part-time
Hours: 16-20 per week
Shift & schedule - 8 hour shifts: Weekends & Evenings
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Work duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Greet and assist customers with products; suggest products.
- Providing above average customer service
- Stocking an organizing store front and storage areas
- Daily dusting and cleaning requirements
- Lifting and stocking of products up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of Alcohol products
- Complete understanding of Alberta Liquor Regulations and Legislations
- Ensuring all sales and service actions are in accordance with the provincial legislation and company guidelines.
- Capable of efficiently and effectively handling customer inquiries and complaints.
- Capable of operating Profitek POS System as well as understanding of credit and debit procedures
- Understanding of basic mathematical principles.
- Capable of performing other job-related duties as outlined by management.
**SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED**
- Ability to work flexible hours (weekends and evening shifts)
- Capable of fulfilling the physical requirements of the position.
- Clear and concise understanding of the importance of superior customer service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work cohesively with coworkers as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must maintain a good attendance record and is punctual.
- Demonstrates trustworthiness.
- Previous hospitality and/or retail experience, customer service and knowledge would be considered an asset.
- Completion of secondary school (required).
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Peace River, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
