**About us**

Hines Facilities Services is a growing services company in Edmonton, AB. Opening our Edmonton office in 2023. We are growing our team and looking for a qualified and experienced Supervisor for our landscape/snow services teams.

Job duties includes:

- training new staff in equipment, scope of work and work safe procedures
- conducting on the job training and evaluations with staff
- working along side landscape/snow removal teams
- documenting work progress, filling out job forms
- assigning tasks to field staff, inspecting work to ensure completion
- loading and unloading equipment
- assisting with minor repairs, trouble shooting and probleming solving.

Experience Requirements:
ability to operate various equipment from Bobcats, ride on mowers, plow trucks etc
Experience working in Landscape and Snow Removal

Experience supervising crews

Must have valid drivers license

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep landscapes clean and well-maintained
- Lead a team of landscape technicians and provide guidance and training as needed
- Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Irrigate plants and maintain proper watering schedules
- Build and install landscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls
- Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and fertilizing as needed
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively
- Knowledge of various plants, trees, and shrubs commonly found in landscaping
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure landscapes are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
