Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a **Commissionaire **to join our growing team.

**WHAT **OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- Ensuring access control is followed and client property is secured
- Escort visitors as required
- Monitoring of CCTV equipment, entrances and building systems
- Maintaining a positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients
- Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and deportment
- Responding to alarms and utilization of alarm panels
- Providing assistance to employees, clients, visitors and students
- Conduct interior and exterior foot and vehicle patrols
- Completing daily logs and written reports as necessary
- Report all incidents to the IO Property Service Line
- Other duties as may be required by the client, site supervisor or manager

**WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US**:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- **MUST* **have Ontario Security Guard License
- **MUST* **have Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- **MUST* **have full G drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time
- The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete patrols.
- The ability to maintain a high level of service to the client.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.88

Hours of work:
Week 1: Wed-Fri 16:00- 00:00, Sat 12:00-00:00

Week 2: Sun 12:00-00:00, Tue 16:00-00:00
