**Job Overview**:
The machining department at Gravelle Woodworking is the first step in production after our jobs leave the design office. Your duties will be dynamic just like the jobs our shop takes on.

Duties will include:

- Operating and programming our Biesse Rover 20 CNC router on the shop floor
- Operating and programming our Fravol edgebander
- Operating our beam saw when required
- Complete regular preventative maintenance on assigned tools and machinery
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness in your work area and contribute to the general organization and cleanliness of our facility.
- Achieve deadlines and prioritize work on multiple projects
- Quality check on all work pieces and parts you handle
- Jig and fixture making for your own use and the use of other team members and departments
- Cabinet making and parts assembly when required
- Work in other areas of the shop when required

**Skills and Experience**:

- Multi-year experience operating and programming CNC machinery in a custom woodworking company is considered necessary
- Experience with Biesse woodworking machinery and software would be considered an asset
- Cabinet making experience considered and asset
- Experience and knowledge in the custom cabinetry and mill work industry would be considered an asset
- Team oriented and flexible
- Attention to detail and emphasis on a high quality finished product

**Training and Education**:

- Training and education in cabinet making or industrial woodworking considered and asset
- College training on CNC woodworking machinery would be considered an asset
- Training on, and multi-year experience programming and operating CNC woodworking machinery necessary.

**This is a full-time position with room for advancement in the company

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
