Key Responsibilities:

- Cost Analysis and Management: Monitor and analyze ongoing costs related to delivery operations, including IDC (Indirect Costs), sort costs, and linehaul expenses. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting to identify trends and areas for cost optimization.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly reports on operational costs and performance. Provide actionable insights to help drive financial strategy and business decisions.
- Operational and strategic Support: Work closely with the operations team to assess financial viability and cost implications of ad hoc requests and new FSA openings, new projects involved high cost. Support strategic decision making with accurate financial information and scernario modeling
- Risk Management: Identify and analyze potential financial risks based on operational insights and operationla information for the new and existing servcie
- Cost saving projects: Continuously monitor operational costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with operational teams to implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Variance analysis : Perform deep dive analysis into all operational costs, investigating variances, and providing detailed monthly reports on financial performance and projections.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders for financial analysis related to opening new regions and other operational expansions. Evaluate the financial impact of proposed changes in the operational structure.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking and reporting the efficiency of delivery operations.
- Detailed Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of all logistics-related costs and prepare comprehensive reports highlighting areas for efficiency improvement.
- Financial Planning for Expansion: Analyze financial implications of potential expansion into new regions, including detailed cost-benefit analysis for ad hoc operational requests.
- Cost Optimization Projects: Lead cost optimization projects by working with cross-functional teams to find innovative ways to reduce expenses without compromising service quality.
- Reporting and Insights: Provide actionable insights through regular financial reporting, focusing on cost trends, efficiency metrics, and performance benchmarks.
- Presentation and communication: Activey participate in monthly financial review meetings, presenting results, and engaging in discussions. Develop the ability to ask incisive questions that challenge assumptions and drive better business discussions
- Financial Models : Develop and refine financial models to analyse, project variations and implications in the cost to enhance efficiency and support financial planning.
- Quarterly Review -Develop model and reporting to facilitate the discussion with delivery partners on quarterly basis, and able to support in reporting, and communicating to related users.

Qualifications:

- Hold a university degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA obtained or in progress an asset).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent planning, strategy and analytical skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written.
- Advanced Excel and strong ability to adapt with financial systems.
- Highly developed sense of organization and keen sense of urgency.
- Ability to work under pressure and ease in managing priorities with mínimal supervision.
- Flexible hours, telecommuting encouraged at all times.
