Banquet Manager

Join our catering team in hosting some of the best events in some of the most prestigious venues in Montreal including the Saint-James Theatre, Jardin Royalmount, New city Gas, Science center & much more. We are looking at hiring Maitre D's who will be in charge of a specific venue for the entire season. Flexible schedule, great team and awesome opportunities to develop your leadership skills

Some of the tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Leading team of 20 + staff members
- Coordinating and following timeline of events
- First point of contact between our company and the client on site
- Overseeing service of Food & beverage coming out of the kitchen
- Ensuring all allergies and specific food instructions are being delivered during event
- Managing arrival + departure time of staff
- Instructing the staff on how to provide high-quality service and ensure that the guests’ needs are met at all times
- Ensuring the staff is well-groomed and wearing the proper attire
- In charge of assigning/ monitoring all the work of the employees
- Be able to answer any concerns, questions, brought on by the patron or any client
- Prioritize and delegate each tasks
- Following current safety and sanitation policies whenever handling food and beverages

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bilingualism is a must
- Communicating clearly in order to create a clear and communicative environment between guests/patrons and servers;
- Strong customer service skills, as well as leadership
- Having strong multitasking skills
- Being able to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Following event budget and regulations
- Needs at least 3 years of experience
- References demanded

SALARY 35$-40$ per house based on experience.
