Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in our restaurant kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about food and looking to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, or preparing sauces
- Cook food items on the grill, stove, or in the oven as directed by the head chef
- Monitor food stock levels and notify the head chef when supplies are running low
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
