A grocery clerk at Di Pietro's is tasked with:

- merchandising product on the sales floor and assemble promotional displays
- Assist customers in locating items and providing information on products
- Ensure that old or expired product is removed and discarded
- Unload delivery trucks and break down pallets of grocery, dairy, and frozen products.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
- May operate hand or power jack or other equipment to unload, transport and store goods.
- Maintain a clean work area by frequently sweeping, clean up customer spills by moping and sanitizing, as well as, take out the daily garbage and recycling.
- Identify workplace hazards and take corrective measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to health and safety standards required by the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.55 per hour

Day range:

- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
