**The work you will do**:

- Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Trim or reinforce joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit.
- Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
- Set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines.
- Assemble cabinetry.
- Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
- Load/unload trucks and handle construction materials.

**Tools & Equipment you may use**:

- Computerized woodworking and computer numerical control (CNC) machines
- Drills, routers, sanders, saws, hand tools
- Air compressors, nail guns, air guns
- Paint sprayer equipment
- Forklift

**Where you will work & the work conditions**:

- Shop environment with occasional outside work
- Fast paced, deadline driven schedule
- Regular exposure to dust and noise
- Standing for extended periods
- Tasks require manual dexterity
- Regularly lifting/carrying up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100lbs
- 40-50 hours per week. Dayshifts with some weekend work.

**Skills and certifications required**:

- Grade 12 or GED equivalent
- Trade certification (ie. carpentry) an asset
- Must have reliable transportation. Public transportation is not available
- Valid driver’s license & clear driver’s abstract
- Must be willing and able to successfully achieve WHMIS, First Aid, Forklift, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training certificates.

**What tools or equipment you need**:

- CSA-approved safety boots
- All other safety gear is provided by the company (ie. safety glasses, gloves, earplugs)
