**Equipment Analyst & Coordinator**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Weekly Equipment Check - 0.5 days - Monday & Tuesday Morning combined **_
- Comparison of runtime GPS hours to accounted hours via HeavyJob timecards
- Import usage data from
- VisionLink
- Komatsu
- JD Link
- Investigate discrepancies in runtime hours
- Add Geofences as needed to VisionLink
- Note reporting issues on machines and feedback to Amico Shop team
- Send out weekly usage checks to project teams
- **Equipment True Up**_
- Weekly
- Post EM Usage batch for missing hours in Vista
- Source Cost Codes (or use unassigned - TBD)
- Heavy Equipment, Generators, Compressors, Small equipment
- Monthly

Design Build monthly minimum charges for:

- Skid steers
- Cranes
- Telehandlers
- Manlifts
- **Equipment/Vehicle/Other Assets Onboarding & Offboarding **_
- Assigning new unit numbers, following existing numbering parameters
- Add to
- Vista EM equipment - initial setup & assigning of rates
- E360 equipment list
- HeavyJob equipment list
- Amico Approved Rate Chart by Category
- Correspond with
- Shop Team
- Accounting Team / Controllers
- Fleet Manager
- Deactivating and removing equipment from
- E360 equipment list
- HeavyJob equipment list
- Correspond with accounting to indicate removal
- Download all available telematics data before removal from VisionLink, Komatsu or JD Link
- **Equipment Cost Analysis - Quarterly basis / as needed**_
- Preparation of cost analysis worksheets by
- Unit type
- Equipment category
- Generate cost per hour, cost per KM, and total cost spent
- For use in equipment analysis

**Amico Approved Cost Rates**
- Understanding of cost structure for construction and other equipment
- Fixed costs
- Variable (operating) costs
- Total costs of ownership
- Use of OPS 127 Rates to perform analysis and comparison with Amico internal rates
- Responsible for investigating any new releases of OPS rates, updating internal rate chart to reflect change

**Amico T&M Preferred Customer Rate Chart**
- Interface with Operations Group to assess Preferred Customer Rates, update and publish annual rate chart.
- Fleet Vehicle Charge by Division & Functional Area
- Prepare monthly usage charge for intercompany fleet vehicle use
- Take driver database & active fleet list, assess charge by person & fleet type
- Post EM Usage / Internal Billing Worksheet (TBD on process)
- **Purchasing administration **_
- POs for rentals, small tools purchases
- Large POs for equipment purchases
- **Equipment Utilization Report**_
- Aggregation of monthly usage data
- Comparison of idle time, working time & runtime hours
- Publishing of monthly report to relevant parties
- **Insurance claims**_
- Assist Corporate Fleet Manager with tracking and administration of insurance claims.
- Submitting request for proof of insurance

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of data wrangling, cleaning, and preparation
- Attention to detail - ability to spot trends, discrepancies, and investigate potential issues
- Strong Excel skills
- XLOOKUP, SUMIF(S), VSTACK, HSTACK, UNIQUE, FILTER, CHOOSECOLS
- Pivot Tables, SparkLines, Splicers, etc.
- Knowledge of Power BI considered an asset
- Strong Communication Skills - oral and written
- Be able to present & summarize data for small groups, add input & feedback, answer ad hoc questions
- Strong willingness to learn / ability to prioritize deliverables
- Knowledge of construction equipment **NOT** required
- Qualifications
- University Degree / new grad
- Business Management or Data Analytics
