**We’re a custom architectural millwork shop with a focus on windows, doors and heritage restoration.**

**This is an excellent position for a mid-career woodworker seeking employment in a young and motivated shop that's interested in supporting and promoting solid traditional building techniques. Lower City Joinery is a great place to make use of and grow your skillset.**
- Experience_

Joiner with a minimum 5 years experience in a professional setting

Experience in restoration of windows and doors an asset but not required
- Skills and qualities_

Must be able to self-direct

Detail oriented

Independent problem solving

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable working with ladders

Proficiency with safe operation of standard woodshop machines and tooling

Proficiency with hand-brushed paints and varnishes

Good time management skills with ability to meet deadlines

Ability to comprehend complex woodworking problems to develop and produce plans & jigs

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Driver's license and vehicle an asset but not required

Located in Hamilton’s historic North Industrial area, we are a small innovative shop with a progressive work environment. Passionate about heritage and contemporary design, we are keen for conscientious committed people who are interested in doing exceptional work.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
