**What your days look like as a Health and Safety Advisor**:

- Establish and maintain a prevention and regulatory compliance strategy applicable to our operations, in addition to updating the EH&S program and ensuring effective management.
- Provide active mentoring and support to site operations management teams regarding safety strategies, priorities, risks, activities, and projects required to achieve EH&S objectives.
- Perform inspections/audits and analyze trends to propose improvements.
- Build strong business relationships with Logistec's internal customers and partners.
- Participate in the implementation of EHS and continuous improvement projects and ensure synergy between the two areas of expertise.
- Develop and modify training, awareness, and communication for EH&S within the organization.
- Active participation in emergency response to provide expert advice to operations.
- Ensure knowledge of regulations and industry best practices to equip team to effectively respond to internal customer requests.

**To succeed as a Health and Safety Advisor you must have**:

- Certificate or degree in an EH&S related field of study with a highly preferred focus on compliance.
- 6-9 years’ experience in Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal health and safety regulations.
- Significant experience in risk analysis and incident management.
- Knowledge of environmental programs and standards an asset.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement is an asset.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Excellent leadership and initiative.
- Available to travel throughout Ontario (50-75% of the time).
- Valid driver’s license, class 5
