**SCOPE**

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Operation Manager to join and grow with the company. Directly reporting to the Director of Sales and working from our headquarter, this key leadership role will work collaboratively with other departments and provides direction to the operations, including drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors, both employee and other contractors, to ensure effective and efficient operations and the timely processing of all shipment and duties. As a leader, your strong leadership skills, transportation logistics, and sound business-based decision-making will ensure that operations run smoothly.

**JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with all areas of the Operations team to ensure that all orders are coordinated for on-time delivery.
- Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are coordinated with respective staff at each shipping destination.
- Review driver performance and participate in driver reviews as requested.
- Comply with laws, regulations and standards, completing any required documentation as applicable.
- Meet performance deadlines and adhere to all client shipping requirements.
- Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required.
- Adhere to all Sethi International service standards and policies, including Health & Safety.
- Work in compliance with the provisions of Occupational Health and Safety
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficient with the use of a computer, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with Avval/Fleet Manager system software would be an asset.
- Sound business judgment and ability to perform insightful analysis.
- Strong understanding of the transportation industry and associated laws
- Experience working with customers through various means of communication and ability to manage customer relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as a member of a team.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills; organizational planning and time management skills.
- A strong understanding of the geographical area, including the United States and Canada.
- Must have direct industry experience of more than five years with supervision experience.

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Logistic industry: 5 years (preferred)
- Supervisor and manager: 3 years (preferred)
