**About Us**: We're the world's biggest urban axe throwing club. Our mission is to bring the thrill of a traditional Canadian backyard pastime to urban communities.

We are seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk/Logistics Assistant to work out of our Burlington location. We are looking for someone with experience and who is able to easily lift up to 50lbs.

**As a Shipping Clerk/Logistics Assistant a typical day might include the following**:

- Ensure all shipments receive the proper labeling and postal charges and are packaged to arrive safely
- Keep management and supervisors aware of product shortages in order to maintain accurate information on the company website
- Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges
- Prepare detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards
- Work with other colleagues to see that all invoices are handled promptly, and goods are shipped and stored properly
- Manage orders through our online store & use a third party program to create shipping labels
- Quality inspect the merchandise prior to shipping and package shipments with appropriate marketing materials
- Respond to customer shipping inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Receive products coming in and maintain an organized and clean work environment
- Pick up and order shipping supplies as needed
- Assist with monthly reporting requirements for sales and tax reporting
- Other ad hoc tasks to help logistics team

- You possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills;
- You have the ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance;
- You are able to lift up to 50 pounds, as many packages are large and heavy;
- You are able to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing;
- Able to work in collaboration with others;
- Able to create and update detailed records and spreadsheets (Excel skills an asset);
- Able to work in a fast paced environment;
- Must have strong attention to detail;
- Must have a high level of commitment to accuracy;
- Computer literate at the intermediate to advanced level, with proficiency in the following softwares: Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Drive etc.
- An individual with initiative and able to demonstrate a flexible approach in responding to needs as they arise.

**Hourly rate**:$22/hour

**Work Hours**:Monday through Friday

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
