**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The **Dry Plant Jr. Operator **is responsible to assist and support in Safely maintaining daily operations via documentation, communication and limiting NPT by completing routine checks and/or repairs on failing components. Assist Sr. Dry Plant Operator and Loader Operator as required, complete QA tasks etc.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist Dry Plant Operator and loader operator when necessary or requested, cross train with the ability to train on plant control systems and process
- Assist QA / QC / Load Out as requested, complete daily check list and pre inspection sheets, ensure all equipment and functions are Safe for operation
- Following direction and complete tasks in a timely manner with close supervision; Ability to ask for direction / instruction when uncertain, communicate through two-way radios onsite
- Assisting maintenance technicians in performing routine tasks such as greasing, changing rollers, bearings, and belt splices, cleaning under tail pulleys and high build up areas, track belts etc.
- Follow all Wayfinder Corp. and OHS safety policies, complete Pre-job hazard assessments, reviewing with team members at the start of every shift: report any safety hazards or unsafe work practices

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Full Class 5 Drivers (Non-GDL) with a clean abstract and reliable transportation
- Applicants with relevant / similar process experience will be prioritized: Production, Plant experience
- Mechanical aptitude and experience / knowledge of load out operations a significant asset
- Basic computer skills required, attention to detail with regular reporting
- Accountability, strong organizational, versatility, strong communication skills
- Must be able to work in physically demanding environments
