Manufacturing Labourer

We're looking for one (1) factory labourer to join our small team to help us manufacture insulated metal building panels and complete other related tasks in Baltimore and (occasionally) Cobourg, Ontario. **Standard shifts are normally Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM**, but hours and shifts may vary based on business needs so some flexibility is required. _No overnight shifts._
- You need to have your own steel-toed safety boots, but any other PPE you need (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) will be provided.
- You will be on your feet almost all of your shift completing machine-related tasks, moving materials around the shop floor, sorting, loading and unloading trucks using a forklift, packing and crating finished and unfinished products, making skids for finished panels, cleaning, maintenance, organizing the yard, inventory control, assisting other workers and helping to maintain our high product quality standards at all times.
- Your work environment is indoors and outdoors all seasons (loading and unloading trucks, throwing waste into dumpsters, rearranging and tidying up the yard, etc.). The factory can be somewhat dusty and hot depending on the season, but it’s well-ventilated and non-toxic. On a fairly regular basis, you will be required to work in an environment where Rockwool (Roxul) is handled, processed and used in the manufacturing of panels.
- You’ll get a 30 minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15 minute breaks during every workday.
- You need to have your own vehicle or a ride to work and back every work day in Baltimore.
- Upon successful completion of 90 day probation, **full-time permanent employees **are eligible for applicable raises, medical benefits, and company RSP programs.
