Floral Merchandiser

Due to strong growth in our business and continued plans for expansion, Northland Floral is looking for Floral Merchandisers. Northland Floral is looking for an energetic, efficient and pleasant self-starter to travel to retail outlets and display beautiful bouquets and potted plants.

As a floral merchandiser you will be working full-time travelling to various retail stores throughout Ontario, following a specific route and schedule. This is an exciting opportunity

On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

- Travelling by your own car to your designated stores.
- Pleasantly greeting store personnel and customers.
- Moving plant and flower boxes from within the store to the display area
- (approx.. 10-15lbs/box)
- Cleaning, counting and refreshing water for existing product.
- Maintaining count sheets and display photos and submitting to head office.
- Removing and discarding old product.
- Removing fresh product from boxes and discarding boxes within store.
- Displaying and counting fresh product to make it pleasing to the consumer.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Being friendly, positive, patient and having an approachable appearance while in store.

- A G Class driver’s license and clean driving record.
- The ability to perform the physical, counting and data sharing tasks as outlined.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- merchandising: 1 year (preferred)
