Esl Teacher

- Brantford is looking for a qualified ESL teacher to provide English language lessons to teens from Spain and France for the month of July and possibly August. The ESL teacher will be responsible for planning lessons and activities, adopting a creative approach, and encouraging and motivating students to learn.

**ESL Teacher Responsibilities**:

- Conducting activities and lessons based on ESL teaching methodologies.
- Encouraging and engaging students to speak in English.
- Motivating students through a pleasant learning environment.
- Maximizing students’ talk time through oral tests and presentations.
- Displaying excellent classroom management.
- Keeping accurate records of student performance.
- Ongoing communication with the program coordinator.

**ESL Teacher Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but ESL experience will be taken into consideration.
- TEFL Certification.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Proficient in the use of classroom technologies.
- Experience teaching teens from different backgrounds.
- Display patience and cultural awareness.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
