**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a _**reliable and motivated**_ individual to join our team as a Mover/Driver. This position involves assisting with moving and transporting goods for our clients. As a **Mover/Driver**, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle, loading and unloading items, and providing excellent customer service.

**Duties**:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload items onto the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
- Secure items to prevent damage during transportation
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth coordination of moving tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling and transporting goods
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with moving
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience is a plus

**What you will you do**:

- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Wrap furniture in protective material
- Operate dollies and other loading equipment to load and unload materials onto and off trucks and loading docks.
- Demonstrate customer service and professionalism when dealing with clients and their property
- Perform other activities such as opening containers and crates, assist in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
- Assist with other tasks on the job site as required

Drivers will additionally:

- Operate and drive straight trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
