Responsibilities:

- Provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with addiction
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients throughout their treatment journey
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in addiction counseling

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Certification or licensure as an Addiction Counselor (e.g., CADC, LCADC)
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Strong case management skills, including the ability to assess needs and develop treatment plans
- Proficient in data collection and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
