Gymnastics Coach

**SUMMARY**

Minimum starting wage of $18/ hour for Gymnastic Foundations-Artistic certified and will be adjusted based on credentials and experience. Relocation is preferred but not required and a relocation bonus may be negotiated. FLIPS will reimburse C1 (or higher) WAG course and certification for coaches who will commit to a minimum two-year contract.

This is perfect for a young coach looking to get their own team and obtain C1 certification. Long-term loyalty will be acknowledged through wage increases, benefits, and/or bonuses.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Co-coach Women’s Pre-Competitive and Competitive gymnastics
- Attend meets and events with Competitive Team (with WAG or Head Coach)
- Occasionally supervise drop-in classes, day camps, birthday parties, and private rentals (as needed)
- Participate in staff meetings and personal Professional Development activities.
- Housekeeping, cleaning, and administration as required (tidy equipment, attendance lists, report cards)
- Maintain all certifications

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
Gymnastics Foundations Trained in Artistic Gymnastics (minimum)
First Aid (Standard or Emergency)
NCCP Making Ethical Decisions
Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
18+ years old
Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Part-time hours: 15 per week
