Estimator Electrical

AC Electric is growing electrical contracting company based out of Caledon/Brampton area. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Strong background with Electrical systems and/or construction industry
- Expert on reviewing blueprints and technical drawings
- Prepare electrical work take-offs and estimates on small and medium size projects including costs of materials, labour and equipment required for projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications.
- Establish and maintain tendering process, sets up cost monitoring, reporting systems and procedures.
- Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects regarding tenders.
- Understanding of Engineering codes
- Prepare change orders
- Excellent communication skills to work with general contractors and suppliers
- Computer system background with EXCEL / WORD
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and computer work
- Is autonomous, methodical and process driven
- Other duties as assigned or required

Education & Skill Requirements
- Minimum 4-year electrical estimating experience on electrical projects.
- 3 + years’ take-off experience using Accubid software.
- License 309A/442 OR Diploma/ Degree in electrical an asset.
- Interested in long term career

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

- electrical estimating: 2 years (required)
