The Calgary Food Bank is hiring a **Manager, Fundraising, Marketing and Communications**, to join our Community Engagement team

This position plays an integral leadership role on the Community Engagement team, leading fundraising initiatives and overseeing general marketing and communications of the organization. We are seeking an experienced Fundraising and Communications Manager to join our team.

**The scope of this position includes, but is not limited to**:

- Assist the Calgary Food Bank through identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of both individual and foundation partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with staff and the Director of Community Engagement to formulate strategic plan for fund development in order to achieve sustained growth in donor support;
- Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with key community partners and donors, providing strategic advice and support as required;
- Provide strategic direction to fund development campaign opportunities which include but are not limited to: Annual Giving Campaign, Direct Mail, Mass Fundraising Campaigns,
- Support the implementation of new policies and procedure that will provide stability to the organization and department;
- Provide leadership to 5 direct reports;
- Collaborate with peers across the organization;
- Provide an organized and consistent approach to fund development, marketing and communications;
- Ensure proposals, presentations and other communication materials are relevant and meet the needs of our donors and organization;
- Manage and supervise the implementation of appropriate donor recognition and stewardship strategies for the organization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to promote the organization's programs and activities.
- Manage the organization's website and social media presence to increase engagement and reach.
- Develop and manage a donor database to ensure accurate and up-to-date donor information and communications.
- Manage marketing and fundraising budgets and expenses.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 8+ years of experience in fundraising and communication, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop effective communication and fundraising plans
- Experience writing annual reports
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for the organization's mission and values

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements**:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment and may require occasional visits to the warehouse.
