Top Coat Painting, a leading professional painting services provider covering Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, is currently seeking 5 full-time painters to join our dynamic team.

**Position**: Painter
**Hourly Wage**: $27.5
**Work Location**: 1822 Serenity Pl, Victoria, BC V8N 6K2
**Term of Employment**: Permanent, Full-Time, 30 hours per week
**Vacation**: 10 days paid vacation per year

**Job Duties**:

- Review project specifications to determine the required quantities of materials.
- Perform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and steam-cleaning.
- Mix and thin paint to achieve the desired color and texture for the project.
- Provide advice to customers on the selection of color schemes.
- Offer cost estimates to customers, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and associated expenses.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Uphold safety standards throughout the painting process, ensuring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of secondary school.
- Previous work experience as a painter is preferred.
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
